The Artist, author of these goods, began painting on silk about 30 years ago.She initially experimented with various techniques of painting on glass,ceramic, tissue. Then during a stay in Paris she met her mentor, the Parisian painter Nicolas Weiland who had his atelier close to Montmartre. Attending his workshop she has learned the technique of painting on silk , called Serti ( that means "border"). This technique was invented in France in 1920's.

Using this technique it is possible to paint pictures, foulards, and different goods made on silk.
