paintings

Paintings are hand painted on silk with the SERTI technique. as described in the introduction of this website. The paintings can be either framed or presented on a cardboard that serves as a pass-partout.

Greeting cards are small pictures that can be framed, as you can see in some photos.

greeting cards

Greeting cards are hand-painted on silk with  the SERTI technique, the same used for the paintings. Only few cards are painted with the technique  of dry brush such as those with backlighting.

The Artist has used the pongè silk or satin brochée silk ; this latter  is more difficult to paint but it gives most suggestive results.

Each card is inserted into an elegant setting of white cardboard.

The measure of the greeting cards so finished are13.5 cm x 19.0 cm.

bracelets and necklaces

Bracelets and necklaces are made of silk hand-colored. For this reason they are all different from each other by nuance and intensity of color, and brilliance that the photographs hardly menage to highlight.

These items are embellished with beads of different shapes and colors. The beads, which may be glass, woolite, wood, or resin etc., are separated by metal spacers.

The only manual processing of these items makes each one a unique and original piece.

scarves and pashminas

Scarves and pashminas are made with hand-colored silk.

The artist has used different types of silk: pongé,crêpe de Chine, crêpe georgette e satin brochée mainly with classical floral motifs.

These different types of silk lend themselves well to the manual staining and they are easily adapted to the techniques of painting.

Pashminas are embellished with beads of different colors in armony with the nuances of the silk. The only manual processing of these items makes each one a unique and original piece.
